This comfortable cycling jersey is a replica of the jersey of the American professional cycling team 7-Eleven from the years 1981 to 1990. 

7-Eleven was a former professional cycling team founded in the United States in 1981. The team was sponsored by the 7-Eleven supermarket chain and the bicycle manufacturer Schwinn. The team was active from 1981 to 1990 and continued under the name Motorola from 1991 to 1996.

The team was founded by the 29-year-old American and former Olympic cyclist Jim Ochowicz. As the name implies, the team started with 7 riders of which Eric Heiden was the team captain. Later, Canadian Ron Hayman joined the team. The 7-Eleven team appeared in the 1985 film American Flyers. This was also the year the team started racing professionally. With success, because at the 1986 Tour de France, Alex Stieda became the first Canadian ever to win the yellow jersey. Not that he could enjoy it for long, as he only had the jersey for one day. However, the biggest victory and highlight of the team was at the 1988 Giro d'Italia. Andy Hampsten won the overall victory and also took home the title of "King of the Mountains".

A characteristic of this team was that they always rode on Eddy Merckx bikes between 1989 and 1996.
