The RedTed Performance retro cycling jerseys have a silicone grip at the back and an elastic band with a grip at the front. Together with the elastic band at the (somewhat longer) sleeve, this ensures the jersey stays perfectly in place while cycling. The fabric is 100% polyester with a micro-hole ball pattern (breathable and lightweight).
These cycling jerseys are aerodynamic - so 'slim fit'; just a bit more tailored than the standard Retro Cycling jerseys. Because of the flatlock stitching, the jersey is sturdy and the seams do not irritate. The cycling jerseys are finished with a hidden long YKK heavy duty zip and have 3 large back pockets which are closed with an elastic band.
The RedTed Performance cycling shorts are composed of 3 different layers. The first layer is a breathable comfortable fabric (Lycra). The second layer contains an anti-shock cushion. The third layer is again a breathable fabric. Our RedTed Performance cycling shorts also contain a widened performance chamois for extra comfort and convenience. Suitable for short as well as long rides. The RedTed Performance cycling outfits are available in 8 sizes, from S till 5XL.

Retro cycling jersey French Champion Tricolore - REDTED
Since 1907, the French Champion on the road wears the tricolour jersey (blue, white and red). The French champion can wear this jersey from the start of the race until the next championship. This characteristic tricolour jersey has existed since the beginning of the French Championship on the road.
The first rider to win this jersey was Gustave Garrigou in 1907. After him, many famous cyclists wore this jersey. Jean Stablinski wore the champion's jersey no less than four times (1960-1962-1963-1964). Also Octave Lapize (1911-1912-1913) , Francis Pélissier (1921-1923-1924), Georges Speicher (1935-1937-1939) and Arnaud Démare (2014-2017-2020) won this jersey three times. Other great French riders who wore the Tricolore include Bernard Thévenet (1973), Laurent Fignon (1984) and Bernard Hinault (1978).
But the most remarkable achievement can be attributed to Jeannie Longo: she managed to win the iconic tricolour jersey no less than 20 times on the road race! The first time was in 1979 and the last time was in 2008. An outstanding achievement!

The RedTed cycling jersey has an aerodynamic cut (so it's a bit tighter), a high quality YKK zip, a wide elastic band at the end of the slightly longer sleeves, a silicone band at the bottom with an extra wide elastic band at the front, and a long front zip (also available in short). A performance jersey for a great price.
RedTed Performance Cycling Shorts
The RedTed Performance cycling shorts have a perfect fit and are very comfortable. The shorts are made of different layers. The first layer is a comfortable and breathable fabric (Lycra) that can be worn directly on the skin. The chamois of RedTed Performance is widened so that irritation in the groin area is less likely. The second layer is an elastic shock absorbing silicone pad with laser perforation and gutters for sweat dispersion. The third layer is, again, a breathable fabric. The shorts are extremely comfortable and have good freedom of movement. At the end of the shorts is a wide elastic band, which is equipped with silicone grip. Thanks to this and the suspender straps, the bib shorts stay perfectly in place.
