Cycling Jerseys - Men - REDTED

A replica retro cycling jersey from our exclusive RedTed collection. With the look of the past and the comfort of the present.

The RedTed Performance retro cycling jerseys have a silicone grip at the back and an elastic band with a grip at the front. Together with the elastic band at the (somewhat longer) sleeve, this ensures the jersey stays perfectly in place while cycling. The fabric is 100% polyester with a micro-hole ball pattern (breathable and lightweight).

These cycling jerseys are aerodynamic - so 'slim fit'; just a bit more tailored than the standard Retro Cycling jerseys. Because of the flatlock stitching, the jersey is sturdy and the seams do not irritate. The cycling jerseys are finished with a hidden long YKK heavy duty zip and have 3 large back pockets which are closed with an elastic band. The RedTed Performance cycling jerseys are available in 8 sizes, from S till 5XL.

ATTENTION: 'Italian' sizing and 'slim fit' so be sure to choose one size bigger than your usual European dress size. CHECK OUT THE SIZING TABLE.

Cycle in this iconic Peugeot retro cycling jersey. This comfortable cycling jersey is a replica of the Peugeot-Esso-Michelin team jersey from 1976-1981. A high quality slim-fit jersey from RedTed with a historic look and modern comfort.

In 1810, weaver Jean-Pierre Peugeot started the Peugeot factory with his sons. From 1882 bicycles were also made under the name Cycles Peugeot. They were sponsors of the cycling sport very early on. For example, Peugeot supported Paul Bourillon in 1896, who became world champion sprint in Copenhagen on a Peugeot bicycle. In 1901 the manufacturer sponsored its first cycling team. Peugeot also sponsored the first ever Tour de France winner - Louis Trousselier in 1905. Peugeot was active in the cycling world until 1986 and is considered one of the most successful sponsors of professional cycling. Many great cyclists rode in the Peugeot cycling jersey.

This black and white checkered cycling jersey is a replica of the jersey of the Peugeot-Esso-Michelin team from the late seventies. A historic cycling jersey with the wearing comfort and quality of today.

Bernard Thévenet won the Tour de France in 1977

Well-known cyclists from this Peugeot cycling team are, for example, the Dutchman Hennie Kuiper, José De Cauwer from Belgium, the British Robert Millar, the Irishman Stephen Roche, the Australian Phil Anderson, and the French riders Jacques Bossis, Yves Hézard, Pascal Simon, Michel Laurent and Gilbert Duclos-Lassalle. And of course the great French cyclist Bernard Thévenet, winner of the Tour de France 1977.
