Mercier is a former cycling team that was active from 1935 to 1984. Until 1969 Mercier was the main sponsor of the French cycling team, after that the French bicycle manufacturer was a co-sponsor until 1983. From 1979 to 1981 the cycling team had three sponsors and was known as Miko-Mercier-Vivagel. Throughout the years until 1984, the team had many different main sponsors, including Fagor, Gan, Miko and COOP. In 1984, the team definitively disappeared from the peloton. Iconic cyclists like Antonin Magne, Raymond Poulidor and Louison Bobet have worn the shirt of this famous cycling team from France.
