The Gan Mercier team is a variant of the famous French cycling team Mercier - manufacturers of racing bikes. From 1935 to 1983 this sponsor was active in cycling. Mercier won the Tour de France twice in 1937 and 1955. Well-known drivers are the popular Raymond Poulidor, the five-time tour winner Jacques Anquetil and Joop Zoetemelk.
