MOLTENI ORANGE RETRO CYCLING JERSEY - 1958-1976
The comfortable RedTed cycling jersey is a replica of the orange Molteni cycling jersey worn by the Italian professional cycling team from 1958-1976, especially during the Merckx period from 1971-1976. Molteni, originally an Italian salami producer in Arcore, Milan, was active as a cycling team from 1958 to 1976.

The team achieved impressive results, with 663 stages won, many of which were attributed to their famous cyclist Eddy Merckx, who won both the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia five times. Other notable riders who rode for Molteni included Gianni Motta, Michele Dancelli, Marino Basso, René Binggeli, Edy Schütz, Rudi Altig and Herman van Springel. In 1976 Molteni permanently ended its sponsorship of the cycling team.
